Ölò by Kokölò | Pérola Negra | 3. Aniversário

After a few months of hiatus from our clubbing adventures, we’re back to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of our label on our home dance floor in Porto: Pérola Negra.

Having recently undergone maintenance works, Pérola is now back stronger than ever, with a tuned Funktion-One sound system that we’re about to put to the test.

With this being our label’s third anniversary, the pressure to match the vibe of past celebrations was high! So, we picked up our phones and started reaching out to some of the friends we’ve made over the years on our international travels, both playing and partying. The first name that came to mind was Liquid Earth.

Taylor, aka Liquid Earth, is a California-born DJ and producer who’s been based in Barcelona for a few years now. We first met him last year during Sonar Week at the Secretsundaze party, where he was on opening duties. A few months later, on another trip—this time en route to Greece—we had a layover in Barcelona. We saw Liquid Earth was headlining the Dance Shake Swing party, and decided to check it out.

We ended up dancing all night and became friends with him and his crew. Now, we’re finally bringing him to Porto for his debut—and what better occasion than our third anniversary?

We’re definitely excited for this one!
