An Evening with Durry: Acoustic Performance + Q&A + Signing

We're excited to host 'An Evening with Durry' including an acoustic performance, Q&A, signing and exclusive givaways at Rough Trade Berlin on Monday, 26th May 2025 at 8pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Each entry ticket for this in-store includes a physical copy of Durry's new album ‘This Movie Sucks’ (RT Exclusive LP on clear with black splatter vinyl, LP on clear vinyl or CD) which will be available for collection at Rough Trade Berlin from 27th June 2025, its official release date. Durry will sign an exclusive art print for you to take home on the night.

Durry, return with an aggressive follow up to their viral debut ‘Suburban Legend’. Like a kick in the teeth and a nice warm hug all rolled into one. This Movie Sucks is a tongue in cheek look at real life. Tackling everything from toxic internet culture, and US economics, to heavy topics like grief and loss, all with a wink and a smile.

It asks what happens after the movie credits roll, after the band moves out of the garage, after the lifelong dream is achieved... and finds that after "happily ever after" just comes real life.

The sound is wildly diverse, taking Durry’s established sound and stretching it further than ever before. With strong punk rock sensibilities in songs like “Bully” and “Start a Band” alongside the folksy sounds of “The Long Goodbye” and “Slug Bug’”. ‘This Movie Sucks’ is a wild ride from start to finish. Tailor made for anybody longing for the energetic angst of the 2000’s rock scene, but with more mature themes and lyrics.
