Scenic Route w/ Jack J & Babeheaven

Welcoming Jack J , one half of Pender Street Steppers and a founding member of the seminal Mood Hut record label and studio Jack J has lent a steady and influential hand in shaping the sound of Vancouver music for over a decade. 2024 saw the release of another LP, Blue Desert (Mood Hut Records), a self-produced record which wades deeper into the stylistically prismatic pool of Jack's own creation: melancholy dub-funk, jangling psychedelia, moon-burnt sophisti-pop and stained glass folk mutations float freely together.
