Description

Join us for the first public reading of GOONS, a sharp new sitcom by Kit Proudfoot, developed as their graduate project at the National Film and Television School.

GOONS follows two overlooked henchmen stuck on the sidelines of a crime syndicate.

When the main team heads out, these two are always left behind ‘holding down the fort’. Desperate to prove themselves but constantly sidelined, they spend their time looking for ways to ‘move up’.

“If this were Sexy Beast, Ben Kingsley would be kindly asking them to NOT do the job.”

Kit is a writer, DJ, and musician whose work blends deadpan absurdity with real-life human emotion.

The Museum of Comedy is a fitting venue for this one-night-only script-in-hand performance - part showcase, part live comedy experiment.

Come for the laughs. Stay for the emotional dysfunction. Bring a mate. It’s free.
