Description

... a captivating fusion of Latin folk and contemporary soul-pop’.

\- Rhythm Passport

Holly Holden is a soulful Spanglish songwriter, weaving Latin folk, poetic pop and global influences into something entirely her own. With her expressive voice, rich acoustic textures and heartfelt lyrics, she creates music that’s vibrant, reflective, and rooted in connection.

This show is a celebration of the release of Holly's new album 'al andar' and will be performed by her new 6 piece band. This is a record shaped by years of travel, a deep love of Latin America, and a Venezuelan cuatro that never left her side. Expect rhythmic grooves, lush harmonies, and stories that honour the beauty of movement, memory and transformation.

This is music for curious hearts and joyful dancers – intimate yet expansive, with echoes of Amy Winehouse, Natalia Lafourcade and Jorge Drexler.

Recent highlights include:

✔️ Toured with Johnny Flynn (Alexandra Palace Theatre, Brighton Dome, Bristol Beacon)

✔️ Opened for Latin Grammy winner Vicente García

✔️ Featured on Rhythm Passport, BBC Radio and global playlists

Support comes from Venezuelan singer-songwriter Josi Costi, who describes his music as raw, imperfect and deeply personal - just as it's meant to be. Prepare to have your soul stirred!

DelaCruz Selector will keep us dancing into the night with a vinyl vintage salsa DJ set, accompanied by maestro timbalero Randy Lester Echavarría to lead the percussion party!

Presented by Folklore Hoxton.
