Amelia Blackwell single release + Pij / Freddie Firth / Hysterical Backslider / Marika T-C

An ultra special show curated by avant-folk artist Amelia Blackwell to launch her debut single 'Body of Water'.

Amelia Blackwell (also of MPTL Microplastics) creates atmospheric and intimate experimental folk music; bracing as much as it is tender, her debut single 'Body of Water' suggests influences as wide as Joana Newsom, Ichiko Aioba and Talk Talk.

The night will feature an eclectic mix of experimental singersongwriters and atmospheric artistry curated by Blackwell:

Pij, the side project of members from the celebrated band Hedgehog (who recently made their live london debut at Cafe Oto) will contribute their patient and playful music, Hysterical Backslider (the solo project of James Moss), his electronic-tinged freakfolk, alongside the delicate songcraft of Freddie Firth (kissing gate, ava, last whole earth catalog) and the honed avant-garde stylings of Marika Tyler-clark
