Graham Bonnet, born on December 23, 1947, in Skegness, Lincolnshire, England, is a renowned British rock singer known for his powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. He first gained prominence in 1968 along with his cousin Trevor Gordon with the pop duo The Marbles, achieving a UK Top 5 hit with "Only One Woman," penned by the Bee Gees.
In 1979, Bonnet joined Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, helping to push the wildly successful album Down to Earth, which featured hits like “Since You Been Gone” and “All Night Long” into Rock n Roll history. Since, Bonnet achieved critical acclaim and a top 10 spot in the charts with his solo album andent on to form Alcatrazz in 1983.
In recent years, Bonnet has remained active in the music scene with the Graham Bonnet Band, releasing albums like The Book (2016) and Meanwhile, Back in the Garage (2018). Their third studio album Day Out in Nowhere (2022) charted in four different positions in Billboard upon its release. Bonnet's enduring influence in rock and metal is marked by his distinctive voice and collaborations with legendary guitarists. At age 77, with his powerful voice as strong as ever, there is so sign of Bonnet slowing down.
