Inspired from EE's 2 for 1 Orange wednesdays.

This week we will be collaborating with Black Radical Arts Community (BRAC) to screen *Talking About Trees (2019)* by Sudanese filmmaker Suhaib Gasmelbari.

Screening starts at 7PM

Open decks will start at 9PM, hosted in the hub with rotating monthly vendors and 2 for 1 cocktails!🍹

Documentary Synopsis:

*Four older Sudanese filmmakers with passion for film battle to bring cinema-going back to Sudan, not without resistance.*

*Ibrahim, Suliman, Eltayeb and Manar left their motherland in the sixties and seventies to study film abroad and founded the Sudanese Film Group in 1989.*

*After years of distance and exile, they are reunited, hoping to finally make their old dream come true: to bring back cinema to Sudan by reopening the Halfaia Cinema, a dilapidated theater in Khartoum.*
