Inspired by the sounds and styles of early-2000s New York and the rise of modern indie-pop-party-punk-disco-sleaze, You Wanted a Party? is the next big indie sleaze night, where punk is the new disco, and disco is the new punk. Think LCD Soundsystem posing with Charli XCX, on a Blue Monday, in London, calling for slacked jawed The Dare, whose powder covered face has just kissed Julian Casablancas' vodka-lime-soda-tasting lips. It's electric. It's overwhelming. It's catastrophic.
