Description

Mono Chapel proudly presents a special four act showcase of live ambient and electronica at The Trades Club in Hebden Bridge on Friday, August 15th.

**Paul Cousins**

Paul Cousins is a producer and ambient composer based in London. Using a collection of reel-to-reel players, tape echoes and analog synthesizers, he creates experimental soundscapes based on themes of imperfection and technological limitation. He has featured on Decca records, BBC radio and in FACT Magazine. Recent work includes two film scores shown at Foley Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery.

**Polypores**

Intricately woven modular synth tapestries, and whirling psychedelic freak-outs with hypnotic polyrhythms and fuzzed-up drum machines. A riveting artist and performer, channelling the weird energies that make up his fractal musical universe.

**Kylie Monologue**

Kylie Monologue is a London-based electronic producer making hip-swayingly rhythmic music which sits somewhere in between the Radiophonic Workshop and the awkward end of 90s IDM. On stage, Jason DinDisc joins to provide the between-song bleeps and bloops.

**Field Lines Cartographer**

Mark Burford, aka Field Lines Cartographer, is one of the new generation of musicians crafting original sonic worlds in electronic music using primarily modular synths. Atmospheric, sometimes dark, occasionally bucolic soundscapes.

Presented by Mono Chapel.
