Cypriot Folk Noir Singer Songwriter **Echo Wants Her Voice Back** returns for what promises to be another triumphant London headline show, this time at quirky, cool and intimate Folklore Hoxton.
Echo Wants Her Voice Back is known for her evocative storytelling and soul-stirring melodies. With a unique fusion of folk, pop, and acoustic elements, often described as "folk noir," Echo's music resonates deeply with listeners, drawing them into her world of introspection and vulnerability. She skillfully weaves Greek myth storytelling into her songs. With her distinctive voice, commanding stage presence and poignant lyrics, Echo has garnered praise from music publications, including Songwriting Magazine, and has been compared to notable artists such as Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Bjork and Lorde.
Echo Wants Her Voice Back is currently collaborating with London-based singer/songwriter Edmund Jeffery, and producer Mark Smith. Her latest single “Crimson Sun” was followed by a sold out show accompanied by her band: Maddy Hamilton on cello, Adam Green on guitar and Reuben Ard on bass, at The Grace, in Islington.
**Edumund Jeffery** will be sharing this special evening, peforming an extended set. An exceptional singer-songwriter and wonderful storyteller, Edmund has taken his wonderully melodic songs and trademark percussive guitar playing around Europe, as well as headlining Pizza Express Live, and many other London venues.
