SHORT WAVES presents a DJ party featuring two explosive performers: BRAVA and Kuntessa.

BRAVA – DJ & MC

A high-energy force behind the decks and on the mic, BRAVA blends raw bass, dembow, footwork, grime, jungle, and more into genre-defying, dancefloor-shaking sets. Known for her galactic stage presence and full-throttle vocals, she’s performed at major festivals like Coachella, Sónar, Primavera Sound, and clubs across Europe.

As an MC, her recent release ‘YONKI DEL BAJO’ (produced by Metrakit) adds to a growing discography, including EPs ‘ME HA BAJADO LA REGLA’ and ‘UNA DE BRAVA!’, and collabs with artists like Yourboykiran and Greta Ch’aska. BRAVA is the voice of a new generation—bold, outspoken, and built for the rave.

KUNTESSA – DJ

Fresh from Italy with her debut EP ‘Pussy Pitstop’, Kuntessa fuses punk, R&B, and bubblegum pop with steamy, DIY flair. Recently featured on BBC Radio 6 and stages like Green Man and Mighty Hoopla, she’s become a standout on East London’s queer and indie scenes.

Her shows are wild, playful, and packed with campy eroticism, irreverent lyrics, and infectious pop hooks. With songs about laziness, body hair, and fantasies of being your bike seat, Kuntessa is impossible to ignore—and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
