In a world where fewer people identify with organised religion, spirituality hasn’t disappeared – it’s evolving. From mindfulness and breathwork to astrology, Tarot and shamanic healing, alternative spiritual practices are everywhere. But what are we really searching for when we engage with them?
In this talk, author Abi Millar explores the rise of modern spirituality – what it is, what it isn’t, and why it resonates with so many. We'll reflect on how people are finding new ways to connect with something larger than themselves, especially in the wake of personal or collective upheaval.
Drawing on themes from her book The Spirituality Gap, Abi will unpack what it means to be “spiritual but not religious” today. Expect a thoughtful, often humorous conversation about belief, scepticism, and the deeply human drive for something more.
**Doors open at 7pm, talk starts at 7:30pm - come down early to grab a good seat!**
