Szu-Kuan Chen is an artist from Chiayi, Taiwan. graduated from the Taipei National University of the Arts and are currently a first-year MFA student. Chen is now participating in an exchange program at Beaux-Arts in Paris, Her practice mainly focuses on site-specific spatial installations, and also includes drawing and painting. Since this year, sound has become an important element in their creative exploration. Her works often originate from personal experiences, reflecting on identity and the environment in which her grew up. “The form of space reveals a human desire to engage in dialogue with the environment.”
