Join Dr Emma Field for an engaging and insightful talk exploring how ADHD presents differently in women and girls, often leading to misunderstanding, misdiagnosis or late diagnosis.

From puberty to menopause - how the impact of hormones on ADHD symptoms presents across the lifespan, as well as co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. Examining the unique challenges women face in managing ADHD alongside careers, relationships, motherhood, societal expectations and exploring how emotional dysregulation, executive function and rejection sensitivity dysphoria manifests for women with ADHD.

Dr Emma Field will provide practical strategies, treatment approaches, and key takeaway advice for managing your ADHD symptoms, followed by a Q&A.

*An experienced counselling psychologist, Dr Emma Field currently runs ADHD Scotland, providing therapy, diagnostic assessment, coaching, peer support and workshops for children, young people and adults with neurodiversity. In addition to extensive training in administering assessment in ASD and ADHD clinical tools, Emma is currently undertaking an additional masters in neurodiversity at the New School of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Previously, she has worked in the educational field in a variety of settings and is a qualified teacher, coach, yoga teacher, mindfulness teacher and practitioner.*
