Jonathan Harvey is one of our top comedy voices, having written for stage, screen and novels he is best know for the outrageous BBC sitcom Gimme Gimme Gimme staring Kathy Burke and the seminal play turned British queer cinema classic Beautiful Thing.

Join us for an evening celebrating Jonathan's work as he talks to TV journalist Scott Byran about his career and screens some of his favouirte clips and episodes from Gimme Gimme Gimme and Beautiful People followed by a screening of Beautiful Thing.

This event is part of our Queer As Jokes strand celebrating funny queer people and the things that make our community laugh from classic sitcoms to new comedy films check out the rest of the season at the festival if you want some lightness in these dark times.
