Description
Thirteen is a 2003 coming-of-age drama about 13-year-old Tracy, who is desperate to fit in with the popular crowd at school. She becomes friends with Evie, a manipulative and alluring girl who introduces Tracy to drugs, sex, and shoplifting. As their friendship deepens, Tracy's relationship with her mother, Melanie, deteriorates, and she spirals into a destructive lifestyle. The film, co-written by Nikki Reed (who also plays Evie) based on her own experiences, explores the pressures of adolescence, the allure of rebellion, and the challenges of motherhood
