Welcome to Hard Mondays, the city’s new weekly temple of speed and sound. Every Monday at John Doe, expect the hardest, fastest, and heaviest Hard Techno event around — packed with international icons and local firestarters.

Tonight – Monday, July 21st, 2025 – we turn up the pressure with two top-tier headliners straight from Colombia: the legendary Sonico aka Sonicore, and the explosive Aleja Vargas. Local talent No1else sets the pace with a thunderous warm-up.

Sonico (aka Sonicore) is a pioneer of Latin America’s techno scene — a DJ, producer, and activist who’s shaped Colombia’s electronic sound since 1995. Founder of Techsound and Hardcodelia, and organiser of Techsound Fest and Radikal Styles, he’s played everywhere from Tresor to GEGEN, and alongside the biggest names in the game — from Jeff Mills to Sven Väth.

Aleja Vargas brings over a decade of razor-sharp experience with a signature blend of Techno, Acid, Hardgroove, and Hardtechno. A standout on lineups across Latin America and beyond, she’s shared decks with the likes of Fatima Hajji, Angerfist, and Magda, and releases on key underground labels. She’s also a dedicated DJ mentor and a driving force in Colombia’s new wave of techno.
