Belgrave Listening Group #70 - A Celebration of SOPHIE

For our 70th edition, we’re celebrating the reissue of PRODUCT, SOPHIE’s iconic collection of early singles, originally released on the mighty Numbers label. We’ll begin our session by listening to the groundbreaking tracks that introduced SOPHIE’s singular sound to the world.

From there, we’ll delve into Oil of Every Pearl’s Un-Insides, the album that cemented her status as a powerhouse of electronic music—placing her name alongside the likes of Aphex Twin, Autechre, and Underground Resistance as a true pioneer of the avant-garde.

We'll close the session with her final album—a record lovingly pieced together from sessions with artists including Kim Petras, Nina Kraviz, and Hannah Diamond.
