Short Waves Presents:
Low Harness: Channelling atonality and noise alongside expansive shoegaze and hypnotic krautrock, on their debut album Salvo, Low Harness capture a sense of instability and unknown terrors; political unrest, impending and current wars, economic crisis, environmental collapse and the loss of loved ones.
Sombre: Rough-housing for the gentle. Pub rock for the faint-hearted. Sombre sit comfortably in the groove between 'B-52s'-esque Bedroom Pop and 'Bill Callahan'-tinged Indie.
Squid Shed: Eclectic rock band Squid Shed return for gig #2. Bruce Henman-Lok rejoins the fold and Joel's on the keys. Otherwise nothing has changed. Owen Turner, Parsa Valiany and Tristan Rodway reprise their usual roles. Expect new material as well as classics of their catalogue. There'll be no Tom Petty cover this time...
The Place It's There: a new alternative rock band from london. open chords. classic melodies. wall of sound. rock n roll music. their current lack of social media presence means the gigs are the place to be. the place to hear and see what’s going on before the rest of the world are let in.
