We are taking over NTs Loft for an intergenerational dance in celebration of Jamaican Independence Day.

Bring your horns, whistles, flags and outfits! All islands are welcome.

There will be 2-4-1 cocktails from 3:00pm-5:00pm, & food available on order from Yard Sale Pizza, so come early and enjoy.

**About the collectives:**

**Sistermatic**, is a Lesbian Soundsystem, founded by Yvonne Taylor and Eddie Lockhart, that ran from 1986-1995 at the South London Women's Centre in Brixton. It served as a crucial space for Black queer women to come together, let loose, and celebrate themselves. Sistermatic’s selection moves across eras and energies, from old school dancehall riddims to deep cuts, lovers rock to bashment, baseline to soul, crackly classics to contemporary tunes, Sistermatic speaks to soundsystem culture, bringing the vibe to the dance we never thought we needed.

**Faggamuffin’s** is dedicated to increasing the visibility of QTBIPOC Pride at Carnival. We are known for our stages at Carnival, which are pretty unforgettable if you have ever been. We create spaces of genuine freedom and fun, celebrating Carnival and Soundsystem Culture.
