Description

Migration made the music – now the dance floor answers at this dub vs cumbia club night, a celebration of migration in partnership with Bonita Worldwide.

Starting last year as a new stage at Glastonbury festival, Terminal 1 is a celebration of migration, unified by the message ‘No human is illegal’. From the Windrush generation and sound system culture to the musical backbone of Latin America, cumbia, we are all on the same flight – as it should be.

As part of this special one-off night, embark on a musical and immersive journey rooted in our international heritage and musical history, with special guests across the night including Liam Bailey, Yazmin Lacy, Nando Arias, Goya Gumbani and Luz Mira Serpa.

From there, experience a music cultural exchange like no other between two massive cultural movements, dub and cumbia. Live dub project and Green Tea Peng ‘Seng Seng’ rhythm section SLICKnBOBBY take to the floor with one of London’s most interesting up-and-coming bands, Bonita House Band, playing a combination of salsa, Latin jazz, cumbia, folklore and psychedelia.
