Ata Kak, the Ghanaian enigma whose highlife-hip-hop-funk wizardry has electrified dance floors worldwide, lands in Berlin with a full band this November. On the 11th, Neue Zukunft hosts the cult icon behind Obaa Sima—a cassette-born masterpiece that vanished into obscurity before being rediscovered and hailed as a cornerstone of Afro-futuristic sound. His live shows are a euphoric mix of raw rhythm, frenetic Twi rap, and lo-fi magic—joyful, unfiltered, unforgettable.

Originally recorded in a Toronto apartment using homemade gear and unstoppable vision, Obaa Sima fuses ancestral groove with early electronic grit—music that feels both futuristic and familiar. Once a total mystery, Ata Kak has since toured the world, lighting up Glastonbury, Roskilde, and Reykjavik with his ecstatic stage presence and boundless energy. Now it’s Berlin’s turn. Come dance to the sound that nearly disappeared—and came back louder than ever.

Mustelide is a Berlin-based electronic producer, songwriter, and synth enthusiast originally from Minsk. Her music fuses synth-pop, field recordings, and vocals into layered, emotional compositions, performed live entirely on hardware with 80s/90s-inspired textures and eclectic beats.
