Back In Ibiza: Exhibition Hang Out

Come and join us in The Social's bar on the evening of 7 Aug for the BACK IN IBIZA ‘Exhibition Hang Out’ session.

We’re showing a curated selection of large photographic prints from Dean Chalkley’s new book 'Back in Ibiza 1998–2003'. This ground breaking book is a visceral journey straight into the heart of Ibiza’s golden period of clubbing. Through the photographs and selected written entries Dean captures the raw, unfiltered ecstasy of that hedonistic era. His lens moves with intimacy and immediacy, immersing the viewer in the rhythm of the dance floor, the stillness of sunrise, the magnetic pull of the island, immortalising the wild characters and free spirits who shaped its story. More than just documentation, the book’s images radiate a pulsing and dynamic energy celebrating the joyous freedom and unselfconscious expression of that incredible period.

Dean’s joined by a lineup of specially invited DJ friends including Lisa Loud, a true icon of Ibiza’s club scene, Chris Sweet and Will Nicol from the Northern Soul Rave Patrol who are known for their eclectic selections. Expect an evocative Balearic-tinged soundtrack, some classics as well as a musical mystery tour in true expansive style.

This Exhibition Hang Out promises to be a night to remember, great music, great work on the walls and a great atmosphere so come immerse yourself in the music and have a wonderful hang out.
