Originally formed in the 18th Century, when arts, society and culture was debated in fashionable coffee houses, it later moved to its stunning Georgian premises behind The Strand. where"The House" and its Fellows continue to debate and advocate for Society, Arts and Industry.
Our unplugged concert takes place in MUSE, the RSA's cocktail bar set within the very heart of the House.September's concert features:
**STEPHEN SPRINGALL** draws influence from the Rock n Roll attitude of his upbringing and his love for the art of Folk storytelling that he discovered while growing up in Ireland. With a lyrical palette coloured by artists like Damien Rice, Kate Tempest, Ray Lamontagne and musical knowledge informed by Blake Mills & Sting, his music is thought provoking and deeply moving.
Edinburgh-based Geordie musician **EVE SIMPSON** "blends the radical vulnerability of the likes of Joni Mitchell with the whimsical clarity of the likes of Laura Marling.’ - The Skinny.
Eve has toured the UK with her Geordie-Scottish folk-pop, chosen as BBC Scotland's Track of the Week last year.
**OLI MCCRACKEN** is a London based British/American Singer-Songwriter. Growing up bwtween Chicago and Denver, he released his debut EP, “From Scratch” in 2016, marking the inception of a career deeply rooted in honest song writing and soulful vocals, captivating audiences with original music that echoes the essence of Americana.
