Description

We're bringing the laughs to you this Welcome Week with the hilariously funny and interactive spoof TED-style seminar led by Steve Porters—an overconfident, backward‑cap‑wearing “ladies’ man and self‑taught feminist.” The show parodies pick‑up culture and comments on gender performativity, toxic masculinity, and the boundaries of consent.

Steve Porters is the creation of Daisy Doris May (They/She) actor (Sex Education, The Last Kingdom) and drag king (Winner of Man Up 2022 – Europe’s biggest drag king competition).

Fresh off the back of sold out shows at Soho Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe, Steve heads to Imperial with his fresh take on modern dating.

★★★★ “Electric” The Scotsman

★★★★★ “Comedy gold” Get The Chance

Directed by Mpilo May. Created and produced by HÄUS OF DONS, a London‑based queer drag‑king collective known for theatrical cabaret and subversive performance.
