Brick Lane Jazz Festival 2026 Opener Party

**Brick Lane Jazz Festival 2026 season officially begins her**e! With the first wave of names for that fifth edition being unveiled on that day, we’re inviting everyone to come together to eat, drink, dance, and connect. This is the first in a series of events leading up to the festival, a chance to soak up the spirit of what’s to come!

We’re kicking things off with a special community night at one of Brick Lane’s newest & finest venues: **Mad Cats**, an intimate hi-fi bar (validated by Greentea Peng herself) Expect forward-thinking sounds, **a top-tier sound system**, and that unmistakable Brick Lane energy.

**ABOUT THE DJs**

\*\*Juju K

\*\*Brick Lane Jazz Festival Founder & Resident DJ Juju K brings the vibes with her UK jazz-focused sets, touching on everything from soulful house to jazz, hip-hop, African rhythms, broken beat, and UKG.

\*\*Don Glori

\*\*Don Glori is an anagram for producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Gordon Li. A product of the not-so-underground, genre-bending melting pot that is Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), Don Glori is now based in London, representing that DIY, can-do attitude on a global scale. Traversing jazz, funk, soul, RnB, samba, and beyond, his music is hard to describe but harder to forget.

\*\*Finn Rees

\*\*Tasmanian-born, Naarm-based keyboardist, composer, and DJ Finn Rees brings soulful grooves, jazz-infused rhythms, and global influences to the decks. A key figure in projects like Close Counters, 30/70, and Allysha Joy, Finn has earned praise for his solo work on Mr Bongo and collaborations with artists like Chaos In The CBD and Aroop Roy. Expect a journey through house, broken beat, Brazilian, Detroit soul, and more — always musical, always moving.
