#STDRUMS

#STDRUMS is Yuji “Rerure” Kawaguchi's drum solo project from Japan. Yuji has travelled all over the world whilst busking with his "D.I.Y." custom made suitcase drum kit, which has landed him here, in London.

His sound ranges from melodic tracks that fuse prog rock, drum'n'bass, electronica & acid jazz, with inspiration from the likes of Led Zeppelin & King Crimson.

He also supported Battles on their Japan tour and performed at Japan's biggest festival "FUJI ROCK \`21" & again in ‘23!

His two albums "Just a Phenomenon" & "Lotus Root" are available online now and they are choc full of jazzy, prog rocky & sometimes dancey madness, that twist and turns your ears around the calm & chaos of a drum kit.

This is his last London shows for a while at this Fracas & he assures that "you will experience a mouthful of drums in your ears!"

Born out of an impromptu late night studio session, itsmyluckyday the brainchild of Rafi George and Die Katze. Traversing the boundaries of folk, rock and electronic synths, their music exists in a place somewhere between dreaming and waking.

Tawai makes fingerstyle-guitar driven, earthy, ambient alternative folk with world influences, electronic experimentation and searching vocals. His self-produced releases draw on global samples and multi-textured, reverb-heavy string sections.
