SOLAR EYES
Solar Eyes are a psych-rock duo from Birmingham, blending swaggering grooves with dark, cinematic sonics. Their second album Live Freaky! Die Freaky! (out Sept 26 via Fierce Panda) follows their acclaimed debut, with new single Time Waits For No One channelling Stones swing and Hunter S. Thompson grit.
Championed by BBC 6 Music and The Quietus, and known for high-octane live shows, they’ve shared stages with English Teacher, Fat Dog and Ditz. Solar Eyes bring their ferocious Spaghetti Junction Western sound to Bristol this autumn.
BELISHAS
Bristol’s beloved scene favorites Belishas have been carving out a unique space between delicate melancholy and raw catharsis since their formation in 2019. Blending gritty alt-rock with experimental influences, their sound nods to The Velvet Underground, early The Cure, Iceage, and Cate Le Bon. Their debut EP Before The Crash (2023), recorded at The Louisiana, earned Spotify editorial support and a sold-out launch at The Lanes, followed by the rhythmic, Talking Heads–inspired single For Winter (I’ll Take Heed).
Riding this momentum, Belishas have played SWX for Dot to Dot Bristol and shared stages with Egyptian Blue, The Last Dinner Party, Automotion, Moreish Idols, and Panic Shack. Now a six-piece, the band is embracing a more electronic edge as they continue their rise in the Bristol scene and beyond.
