Rose Io 'Autumn Automaton' Album Launch Party

Brighton-based writer, musician and visual artist **Rose Io (FKA Rokurokubi)** celebrates her new LP release 'Autumn Automaton' - gem-like and sometimes darkly humorous songs inspired by wind-up toys, automata, theparanormal, dreams, visions and her lived experiences.

Born out of a period of profound emotional crisis, the album represents a gradual progression towards re-establishing Rose’s sense of identity and purpose. Rose created the music to reflect this concept, composing songs reminiscent of clockwork toys, kaleidoscopic patterns and the hazy memories of childhood.

Inspired by her love of outsider art, mediumistic art, folk art and surrealism, ‘Autumn Automaton’ reflects a truly original and anomalous voice in the realm of contemporary psychedelic and folk music.

She is supported by local greats Sairie, and London based alternative whatdyamacallit, Vodka Terry.
