**Amani Lia**

With unique vocals, catchy hooks and raw honesty, Amani Lia is breaking boundaries for South Asian artists in the music industry. Hailing from Hertfordshire, her debut EP ‘the back up’, pays homage to 90’s/ 00’s R&B, yet nods to Amani's south Asian heritage. Whilst each song pays tribute to some of Amani's favourite R&B artists her distinctive tone sets her apart and is sure to stick with listeners.

Her single ‘don’t bother’ was named track of the week by BBC 1Xtra and has garnered support from the likes of The Blues Project, KISS, BBC Asian Network, Apple Music and many more.
