DAVE ROWNTREE NO ONE YOU KNOW: EARLY BLUR PHOTOS with MIRANDA SAWYER

The Rock ’n’ Roll Book Club is thrilled to welcome **Blur’s Dave Rowntree** in conversation with **Miranda Sawyer at The Ivy House**. This special event marks the release of Dave’s photo book No One You Know – Early Blur Photos (Hero Press).

**As Blur’s drummer and founding member**, Dave took his camera everywhere during the band’s first adventures, capturing **Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and himself** in the thrilling early stages of their rise.

The book features images from **Blur’s** debut tours of America and Japan, sessions in UK studios, games on the tour bus, backstage antics, hotel downtime, video shoots and moments with fans and friends. It offers a rare glimpse of life inside a young band when everything felt new and full of possibility.

With hundreds of previously unseen photographs, a personal foreword and detailed memories alongside the images, No One You Know is a unique visual record of one of Britain’s best-loved bands in their formative years.

Dave will be in conversation with **Miranda Sawyer — journalist, broadcaster and author of Uncommon People – Britpop and Beyond in 20 Songs** — Dave will bring this remarkable archive to life.

There will be the opportunity to ask questions & at the end of the evening, he’ll have copies of the book available to buy, which he’ll be happy to sign.
