May Payne is a confessional emo-folk singer-songwriter. Raised in rural Dorset on a diet of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, she built a cult following online as an outspoken teenager with an all-consuming obsession with music. Now London-based, she crafts hyper-vulnerable songs inspired by the raw sound of Big Thief and 00s Emo. Her forthcoming single, Pennsylvania, is highly anticipated and set for an early spring release.
