A pivotal member of the Griselda collective, Benny’s gritty chronicles of survival and ambition reflect the bleak backdrop of his city. His relentless hustle is evident in albums like Tana Talk 3 and Burden of Proof, blending harrowing tales of hustling with sharp wordplay.

Benny defies industry norms, hitting his stride in his thirties with hard-hitting releases: Tana Talk 3 (2018), The Plugs I Met (2019), and the acclaimed Burden of Proof (2020), followed by The Plugs I Met 2 (2021). A collaboration with J. Cole preceded 2022's Tana Talk 4. In 2024, Benny made a powerful statement with his first album for Def Jam, Everybody Can't Go.
