Falling Moon are delighted to present the Kaspar Hauser single(s) launch show with support from Glass Eel & Winnipeg, MN.
This November South London folk-rock quintet Kaspar Hauser is lining up the release of their second album, their first since expanding from a 3-piece - a stylistic turn towards more upbeat pop music while still maintaining their morbid chamber folk essence. This night at the Social will be a celebration of the first few singles and a preview of the upcoming album.
Glass Eel is the project of Alice Western (formerly of Buggs), a songwriter whose work drifts between indie folk, grunge and psych, laced with mythology and raw, emotional introspection. Her debut single "The Line" , out on Memorials of Distinction, is a quietly devastating piece: spare, tender and deliberate, exploring the slow tug between collapse and resilience.
Winnipeg, MN is a six-piece band, originally formed in Brighton, now based in South London, playing dynamic indie folk-rock.
Presented by Falling Moon.
