As Nature gets quieter, and our lives get busier, it’s easy to forget how inspiring the everyday frequencies can be. ReRooted is here to amplify those overlooked sounds, with a little help from your favourite musicians.
Next up, we bring Moonchild Sanelly to Bristol Beacon's Lantern Hall for a one off gig that champions the natural world.
We’re On the Edge; we connect people to the joy of Nature in new and unexpected ways. ReRooted is our music series, where we send musicians into the wild to stitch together tracks from the samples they find. And trust us, Moonchild’s seaside-inspired creation is pure sunshine. Armed with a hydrophone she recorded the sounds of the seaside, from the sea breeze to the whirling rock pools, all remixed into a track that pulses with tidal energy.
Come for the music, stay for the unexpected Nature inspiration.
Hosted at Bristol Beacon, a home for artists and audiences to come together and share in the power of live music.
Presented by On the Edge Conservation.
