**Daphné Chenel**

Daphné Chenel is a French singer-songwriter. After studying music in Paris, she moved to Lisbon for 3 years, where she began her musical career. Beginning by playing in piano bars, she quickly became part of Lisbon's emerging scene and made a name for herself after the release of her first EP “Mue” in 2023, which she presented to the public in renowned Portuguese venues such as Maus Habitos, Cossoul, Fabrica Braço de Prata, or in sessions such as Sofar Sounds Lisbon and Porto.

After traveling around Europe this past year and writing her second project on the road, she returned to Lisbon and released three singles “Près des Fleurs” and “Le temps d'une averse” in early 2025.

Peri Rae uses her sweet singing tone to mask the bite of her subject matter, using a blend of poetic, personal lyrics with a sound that has matured into anthemic folk-rock.

Named by Rolling Stone as “an artist you have to meet” and described by BBC Introducing as “combining humour and heartbreak within deeply clever lyrics, she is an unmissable artist on the rise”.

Following a triumphant summer festival tour across major stages in the UK, Peri is back in the studio working on her next highly-anticipated project.
