'BEBAS' is GILA KOLEKTIF's debut event, raising funds for LBH (Lembaga Bantuan Hukum).

A new collective that celebrates all things Indonesian, but in true GILA style.

'BEBAS' = free (liberty to act without constraint)

In late August, Indonesians experienced some of the worst police brutality ever.

The economic disparity between the government and its people came to a head this summer, leading to mass anti-government protests taking place across the country. The police and the military responded with brutal violence that lead to the death of several people, with hundreds injured and arrested.

Currently, there are many activists still in prison, with more arrests happening as time goes on; they are victims of state violence. People were demonstrating simply because they wanted a better life - the government failed them.

'BEBAS' is a club night taking place at 'Moon Club' on the 28.11.25, that will raise money for LBH (Lembaga Bantuan Hukum), an organisation that works to provide free legal advice to Indonesian citizens, specifically to help the arrested activists.

Bristol's first ever, full Indonesian line up will consist of Jawa Jones (Vinyl Bitch), TIRTA (Embody) and Ar (Eastern Margins), bringing a multi genre night with Indonesian personality.

GILA KOLEKTIF will introduce you to Indonesian culture in a way you have never experienced before: crazy.
