Genevieve Namazzi is a jazz bassist and composer born and raised in South London. With her newly formed quartet, ‘GENTET', she performs her own compositions inviting listeners into the narrative of her life.
Inspired by the bold creativity of Tigran Hamasyan, Linda May Han Oh, Mark Guiliana, and Esperanza Spalding, Genevieve crafts music that is uplifting, heartfelt, and rhythmically rich. Combining lyrical sensitivity with catchy grooves, her music is an immersive experience that will easily captivate any listener.
Genevieve shares the stage with exceptional musicians: Maddy Coombs (sax), Emily Tran (piano), and Edmund Ashmore (drums). She is looking forward to sharing her new music with a new audience at Morocco Bound!
