Nouria Bah combines her love of close harmonies, silly puns and catchy basslines to create bricolage-like grooves. With roots in Senegal/Guinea, Nouria grew up in the US before moving to London in 2011. Since then, she has contributed to various experimental/indie projects.
Her debut EP "Don B4" and single " Sawtooth Ruler" has received widespread acclaim, including a spot on Bandcamp’s New & Notable list, BBC Radio 6, airplay from Tony Minvielle, China Moses, and YolanDa Brown on Jazz FM, and a creative grant from The White Pube who described it as “… listening to two hands holding each other, tender, loving, careful, overlapped.”
**Lucy Wroe**
UK based artist Lucy Wroe is a songwriter who enjoys dipping in and out of genres. She sits somewhere on the smoky edge of pop and folk, with a hand in the soft electronic pool…
Raised in Winchester in the south of England, she moved to London in 2018. Lucy loves the early years of 2000s pop, classic soul/RnB, has an (unhealthy) obsession with Q-Tip, and reaches beyond into the soft realm of Joni-folk. These influences are wrapped up into something entirely new and Wroe-like.
Lucy Wroe has earned critical praise from publications like CLOUT, Mezmerised and PowHer Sound. Her work has been championed by BBC Introducing and Fresh on The Net. “A paragon of authenticity in London’s indie music scene’
