


Local Movements are a collective of artists and community-driven music platform and events collective in London, dedicated to spotlighting emerging artists and underrepresented voices across the underground scene.
Founded on the belief that nightlife and culture should be inclusive, supportive, and accessible, Local Movements brings together DJs and creatives to build spaces where new ideas can be shared and explored.
Together as a collective they know how to get any party started, covering an eclectic range of music for every scenario.
Whether its locking off house parties with 80s RNB and Dancehall or moving dancefloors with Garage and Disco, Local Movements curate parties with an emphasis on having fun.
ABOUT MA.MOYO
Belinda Zhawi (b. Zimbabwe) is a literary & sound artist & experiments with sound/text performance as MA.MOYO.
Her literary & sound works have been featured on various platforms including The White Review, Vogue, NTS, Boiler Room & BBC Radio. Her debut album, a collaboration with Duncan Bellamy (Portico Quartet) was released under the moniker BZDB on AD93 Records (November 2024).
