The Great Escape Presents Kingfishr

As part of The Great Escape 2026, the world-renowned new music festival, Irish indie-folk trio Kingfishr headline a special Spotlight Show at Brighton Dome.

Celebrated as THE festival for new music, The Great Escape showcases over 450 emerging artists from around the world across 30+ Brighton venues each May, alongside its influential music industry conference. The Spotlight Shows shine a light on some of the most exciting breakthrough acts performing at the festival, offering fans the chance to see future stars on a bigger stage.

Formed in Limerick during lockdown, Kingfishr have rapidly become one of Ireland’s most talked-about new acts. Their soaring soundscapes, emotive songwriting, and anthemic live performances have earned them a devoted following, with breakout track “Killeagh” spending 18 weeks in the Irish Top 10 and achieving four-times platinum status. Known for their powerful connection with audiences, the trio promise an unforgettable night at Brighton Dome.
