Lydia Lunch returns — louder, dirtier, and more gloriously unhinged than ever.

Her cult project Big Sexy Noise, featuring James Johnston (Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Faust) and Ian White (Barry Adamson, Gallon Drunk), rises again to prove that real rock is still alive — feral, sweaty, and defiantly raunchy.

Forged in the fires of New York’s no wave scene, Big Sexy Noise tears apart the blues-soaked muscle of 70s heavy rock, flipping every cliché with brutal joy. Johnston’s molten guitar eruptions, White’s sinfully grooving shuffle, and Lunch’s unmistakable venomous snarl collide into a sound that is both primal and perversely ecstatic — a dirty, sacred, unstoppable force.

In January 2026, In The Red Records (USA) teams up with Forte Distribution (UK) and Konkurrent (NL) to release the band’s new album Big Sexy Noise — Live in Italy: a fierce, fearless, “balls-to-the-wall” rock monsterpiece capturing the group at their most explosive.

To celebrate the release, Big Sexy Noise reunite for a rare run of UK and European shows — and Berlin gets one of the very few chances to witness this sonic maelstrom up close.

Critics have already hailed the band’s return as a blast of raw, unapologetic power, praising their ability to deliver rock with sweat, swagger, and sin — the way it was always meant to be.
