Play It Forward

On Sunday 21 December we’re keeping our Sunday Roast service rolling into the evening as everyone starts to break up for Christmas. It’s the last roast of 2025 and we’re turning it into a community fundraiser: all door proceeds go to Margate Independent Foodbank to support through the holiday period.

This isn’t just about roasts.

Come for pints, wine, big groups, board games, small tables, early dinners, late hangouts, dancing, and whatever unfolds once the plates are cleared. It’s open to families, kids, and dogs – the full community is welcome.

From 3pm into the evening we’ve invited LOADS of DJs to jump on in a long rolling b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2 session, playing the music that’s inspired them the most, over the Poseidon Sound System. The journey will get strange, eclectic, possibly chaotic. That’s the point. It’s a snapshot of Margate’s creative community in its purest form.

Come for the roast. Stay for beers. Stay for whatever unfolds on the Poseidon Sound System as it rolls from afternoon into night. Maybe it turns into a party, maybe it becomes something else entirely. Either way, it’s about bringing people together, catching up before the holidays, and raising money for a good cause when it’s needed most.
