IVW 2026: BISHOPSKIN + WISH

Bishopskin is a London-based 7-piece ensemble renowned for their electrifying live performances and genre-defying blend of English pastoral folk, blues, punk, prog and mediaeval hymns. They have been lauded as a band that "connects with the deeper spirituality lurking at the bottom of folk music" (Hideous Mag) and crafting a sound that “explores a musical landscape tread hundreds of years before, but presents something wholly revelatory” (So Young Magazine).

Their ability to weave disparate influences—from Ukrainian folk rhythms to 19th-century Romanticism—has cemented their reputation as an act that "creates music containing both the glassy slickness of modernity and the essential, humming throb of music at the beginning of language" (Totally Wired).
