BIG SEXY NOISE is the volcanic union of LYDIA LUNCH, the iconic American indie provocateur, with the dark, swaggering energy of GALLON DRUNK — the cult London outfit known for their swampy, blues-soaked bursts of sound.

LYDIA LUNCH has been setting fires in the underground world for decades — from her incendiary beginnings with TEENAGE JESUS AND THE JERKS in the late-’70s New York no wave scene to her relentless spoken word, film, and musical collaborations with disparate artists such as WILLIAM BURROUGHS, ROWLAND S. HOWARD, THURSTON MOORE, ANTHONY BOURDAIN, and numerous others.

JAMES JOHNSTON and IAN WHITE are best known as the founder/vocalist/guitarist and drummer of GALLON DRUNK. Emerging in the early 1990s, the band’s wild fusion of post-punk cinematic noir earned them critical acclaim and a devoted following, leading to collaborations and tours with artists like FAUST, PJ HARVEY, NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS, and others.
