Insider Trading

Insider Trading are an independent four piece that have been making waves in the Edinburgh underground scene. A blend of textural post-rock with furious walls of sound reminiscent of 80s no-wave and the gentler melodic aspects of slowcore, the band have carved for themselves a unique sonic identity in the Edinburgh gig landscape.

Their live performances are known for their highs of cascading of guitars centred around a powerful rhythm section, which unfolds into contemplative lows punctuated by spoken poetry and serene instrumentals. This discontinuity creates a tension that makes for a live performance that is at once both dynamic and cathartic.
