Midnight Rodeo / J Mahon and The Heavenly Pop Hits

Nottingham-based six-piece Midnight Rodeo released their debut album Chaos Era in July 2025 to strong acclaim from BBC Radio 6, DIY, KEXP, Shindig and CLASH. Following extensive UK and European touring in 2025, the band are heading into 2026 with new UK dates, multiple European tours and a first trip to the US. Relentless live activity since 2023 — including sold-out hometown shows and appearances at The Great Escape, Dot To Dot and Kendall Calling — has forged a tight-knit ensemble whose joy on stage is central to their sound. Blending disco rhythms, West Coast psych and Dada-esque songwriting, Chaos Era is a coming-of-age record about connection, change and escape — music made to move people and make them dance.

J Mahon is the musical project of Berlin-based Australian expat Jarrod Michael Mahon.

After years of self-released home recordings, he debuted with Everything Has a Life in 2023, produced with Syd Kemp (Thurston Moore, Ulrika Spacek, Spiritualized). In 2025, Mahon signed to Unique Records and reunited with Kemp for his second album, the chamber-pop Begin Again, Again, released June 27. Influenced by Sparklehorse, Spiritualized and Daniel Johnston, Mahon’s songs combine intimate pop, chamber strings and guitar feedback. Live, he moves between haunting solo sets and a powerful seven-piece band, having performed at SXSW, The Great Escape and toured with artists including King Krule, Speedy Ortiz and Ariel Pink.
