We're excited to come to Perth on 29th January for a night of storytelling!
As part of the St. Brigid's Day celebration at Kidogo Arthouse, the theme of the night is 'Strong Women'. All stories told will revolve around this theme. Stories can be personal anecdotes based on your own experience, or the experience of someone in your life, they can be fictional pieces, they can be monologues, personal anecdotes or anything that you consider a story.
Storytellers can apply here: https://www.seanchoiche.com/tellyourstory
No refunds available on tickets purchased.
Max two tickets per person.
We have a select amount of Mob tickets which are free of charge. If you are a member of the Aboriginal community, you go for free.
Seanchoíche is grounded in respecting the cultures and traditions of all storytellers, respectfully acknowledge the the Wurundjeri woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the land on which we gather this evening.
As we run nights across these vast lands, we pay our respect to all First Nations Elders, past, present, and future. We celebrate their continuing connection and contribution to culture, country and community, as we ourselves attempt to reconnect to our own culture through storytelling, and we thank all First Nations peoples for their wisdom in caring for the land, the sky, the rivers, the sea and of course the stories that we hear, that we share, and that we feel.
Presented by Seanchoíche.
