Em 2024, a Dr. Rubinstein lançou o seu muito aguardado primeiro EP, “Rubi’s Acid Spa”, que marcou a estreia da sua própria editora, "Uppers and Downers". A editora apresenta produções que refletem a sua procura desde sempre por faixas ácidas, afirmativas e extáticas, que permitem - e incentivam - os ravers a sentir um profundo sentido de aceitação e pertença. Segundo a própria doutora: “Os primeiros sentimentos de casa — de pertença e de compreensão mútua — surgiram-me na pista de dança, e nunca mais olhei para trás!”. Dia 20 de Março, no Plano B.

Dr. Rubinstein, selector, vinyl aficionado, dynamic performer, and the undisputed queen of acid. With her fierce and unique approach to DJing she solidified her status as an indispensable fixture in the international music scene and as the taste-making authority on all things rave. For the past decade she continuously toured the world, energizing dance floors time and time again with her truly one of a kind selection.

Her nearly encyclopedic collection of vinyl, consists of nearly forgotten classic records, explosive drumrolls and squelching 303 lines to give you a glimpse of pure energy from a time long gone, capturing a feeling of ecstatic joy and togetherness that is rarely seen today.

In 2024 Dr. Rubinstein released her highly anticipated first EP “Rubi’s Acid Spa” serving as the inaugural release on her own record label, Uppers and Downers. The label features productions that resonate with her lifelong quest for ecstatic, affirmative, acidic tracks that both allow and encourage ravers to feel a sense of acceptance and belonging. According to the doctor herself: “The very first feelings of home — of belonging and mutual understanding—came to me on the dance floor, and I have never looked back!". Next March 20th, at Plano B.
